The remaining Olympic tickets sale has been delayed.


Organizers have delayed the sale of the remaining Olympic tickets as they are struggling to set the right date because of the busy schedule of the events.
It's been said that the remaining sale is postponed till after the release of the Olympic football draw on April 26.

High Five Live Olympics Extra

The BBC are set to launch a temporary radio station that will provide live updates about the London 2012 sports event.

Five Live Olympics extra will be in addition to five live and five live sports extra broadcasts.

The £200,000 digital radio station will broadcast live coverage throughout the day .

This means coverage of BBC parliament during the games on TV ,unless parliament is recalled.

Roger Mosley the BBC director of London 2012 said the plans would 'greatly add to the enjoyment we can offer to sports fans'.

London 2012 event is an example to follow!

International Olympic Committee president Jacques Rogge said that London is setting a "blueprint" in the planning for the event. 
As quoted in Independent“London has raised the bar on how to deliver a lasting legacy.  We can already see tangible results in the remarkable regeneration of East London. This great historical city has created a legacy blueprint for future Games hosts.”
In the meeting with the Prime Minister David Cameron  it was also discussed that the security is still one of the major concerns in the preparation. 
As quoted in Independent, David Cameron said: "Though much has been done, I am acutely aware that the drive to embed and secure the benefits of London 2012 is still to come. That is our biggest challenge. It’s also our greatest opportunity.”

'Greatest show on earth' says Prime Minister

The London 2012 Olympics to be the 'Greatest show on earth' according to Prime Minister David Cameron.
The sports event  is to kick off in the month of July and is said to be the biggest and best yet.
Later David Cameron said 'It's an extraordinary honour for the UK and we intend to repay that faith.'
Mr Cameron made these statements whilst in London on inspection with The International Olympics Committee which is on a three day visit to make sure everything is well prepared for the Olympics.
He added: "The true legacy of London 2012 lies in the future. Though much has been done, I am acutely aware that the drive to embed and secure the benefits of London 2012 is still to come'.
